In-Home Inventory Specialist (Marin)

Casa is hiring an In-Home Inventory Specialist to work in Marin County on a contract basis. As a key member of our onboarding team, you'll document the unique characteristics of each home to help us deliver exceptional service from day one.

About This Position

This contract role combines customer hospitality with technical fieldwork. You'll visit residential properties throughout Marin County to create detailed digital home profiles using specialized scanning equipment and photography. Your work establishes the foundation for Casa's ongoing relationship with each member—your thoroughness and professionalism shape their experience from the moment you arrive.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive, room-by-room documentation of residential properties
• Photograph home systems, fixtures, appliances, and personal assets with precision
• Operate 3D scanning equipment to capture accurate floor plans and spatial data
• Use paint analysis technology to record exact wall colors, finishes, and surface specifications
• Identify and document utility infrastructure, safety systems, and critical mechanical equipment
• Interview homeowners to understand their needs, service preferences, and vendor relationships
• Represent Casa with integrity, respect, and confidentiality in members' private spaces
• Maintain accurate records in our mobile application throughout each visit

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in home services, property management, real estate, home inventory, facilities, high-end hospitality, concierge services, or inspection and assessment backgrounds
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse homeowners
• Highly organized, detail-conscious, and able to execute structured protocols
• Comfortable conducting inspections and assessments within private homes with discretion
• Physical capability to transport equipment, navigate multi-story homes, and perform field-based work
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current insurance documentation
• Proficiency with smartphone apps, tablet interfaces, digital cameras, and Bluetooth devices
• Willingness to pass a background clearance check
