About the Role
As a Class A Delivery Driver at Sysco, you'll operate commercial vehicles to transport foodservice products to restaurants, hospitality venues, and institutional customers across the Cincinnati area. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work for the industry's largest foodservice distributor while maintaining reliable routes and building relationships with established customers.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on assigned delivery routes throughout the Cincinnati territory
- Plan and execute daily routes to meet customer schedules and delivery windows
- Load, secure, and unload products while maintaining proper food safety standards
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
- Document deliveries accurately and maintain required logs
- Interact professionally with customers and address service questions
- Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations and Sysco safety standards
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with clean driving history
- Demonstrated experience operating tractor-trailer or heavy commercial vehicles
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen
- Strong organizational and route-planning skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Physical capability to handle loading and unloading duties
