About the Role

This CDL A Company Driver Local Dump role is a full-time, solo (W2) opportunity based in Portola, Plumas County. You'll operate flatbed and dump trailers on local routes, keeping you near home with predominantly daytime hours instead of long over-the-road stretches. Expect an average of roughly 500 to 1,500 miles each week, with reported total weekly pay typically ranging from $1,200 to $2,500.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate flatbed and dump trailers across local hauling assignments
• Complete deliveries and pickups on regional routes, primarily during day-shift hours
• Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep equipment road-ready
• Secure, load, and unload cargo according to safety standards
• Maintain accurate trip and compliance records in line with DOT regulations

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)
• Experience handling flatbed and/or dump trailer equipment preferred
• Commitment to safe driving practices and DOT compliance
• Reliability and the ability to work a solo, day-shift schedule
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading, securing, and unloading freight
