Caregiver (CNA or PCA) in Palmyra, VA

Right at Home Blue Ridge is seeking compassionate Caregiver professionals—Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Personal Care Attendants (PCAs)—to provide in-home care in Palmyra, VA and the surrounding Fluvanna County region, including Cunningham. This is a full-time position with a well-established home care agency dedicated to delivering quality, dignified care directly in clients' homes.

Role Overview

As a Caregiver with Right at Home Blue Ridge, you'll work one-on-one with seniors and individuals who need daily living support. You'll be based in the Palmyra area, serving clients throughout Fluvanna County and neighboring communities like Louisa. Your role is to build trust, provide reliable assistance, and make a measurable difference in the lives of the people you care for—work that is both challenging and deeply rewarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Help with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and safety protocols
• Provide companionship and emotional support while respecting client dignity and preferences
• Monitor and report client health and behavioral changes to supervising nurses or care coordinators
• Maintain clean, safe home environments and assist with light housekeeping tasks as needed
• Communicate compassionately with clients, families, and the care team

Skills & Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or valid PCA credentials required
• Proven reliability, punctuality, and professional demeanor
