About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential deep-tech cybersecurity startup in Saarbrücken, Germany. This is a co-founder equity role for a commercially-minded leader who can turn validated industrial cybersecurity technology into a revenue-generating business serving German manufacturing and critical infrastructure.

The founding team has completed significant technical validation—including customer conversations at multiple industry events and securing substantial non-dilutive government funding—and now needs a business co-founder to own go-to-market strategy, sales execution, and commercial operations.

Responsibilities

As Business Co-Founder, you will:

• Design and execute the go-to-market strategy for German manufacturing clients and utilities, converting validated interest from industry contacts into pilots and paying contracts
• Bridge technical capabilities with the procurement cycles, budgets, and risk frameworks of Plant Managers and CISOs in operational technology environments
• Own commercial strategy including pricing, packaging, and positioning as the product transitions from prototype to repeatable offering
• Navigate industrial procurement processes and understand how manufacturing and energy organizations make buying decisions in OT/ICS cybersecurity
• Lead company incorporation (planned mid-2027) and support fundraising efforts alongside the technical founding team
• Build the commercial foundation necessary to scale a deep-tech security business serving critical infrastructure

What We're Looking For

Core requirements:

• Proven business development or sales experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity, industrial automation, or closely related B2B industrial technology sectors
• Deep understanding of German manufacturing and utilities procurement, including budget cycles and decision-making processes
• Ability to communicate technical security concepts to non-technical industrial stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take on co-founder equity rather than salary

Especially valuable:

• Existing network among Plant Managers, CISOs, or operational technology security buyers in German industry
• Familiarity with IEC 62443 and industrial compliance standards
• Experience navigating regulation-driven technology adoption in critical infrastructure
• Track record converting early-stage technology into commercial traction
