Business Director – F/H – CDI

We are representing a confidential media and advertising organization in Paris, seeking a Business Director to lead integrated media and creative initiatives for a major retail client. This is a unique opportunity to bridge strategic media planning with creative excellence in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary strategic contact for a high-profile retail client, driving holistic marketing and communications strategy
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across media, creative, data, technology, and influencer marketing to deliver integrated campaigns
• Monitor and optimize business performance using attribution models and measurement tools, connecting data insights to creative impact
• Lead a direct team of two while orchestrating collaboration across multiple specialist units
• Develop and present high-level strategic recommendations autonomously, inspiring both client and internal teams
• Manage complex stakeholder relationships, resolving friction points and clarifying roles to ensure seamless execution
• Drive retail traffic and in-store performance through data-informed media and creative strategies

What We're Looking For

• A rare blend of media expertise and creative sensibility — ideally from a media agency with strong creative/social instincts, or from a creative/planning background with data and business acumen
• Deep understanding of street culture and Gen Z audiences and how to activate these codes authentically
• Experience or strong affinity with the retail sector and traffic-driving strategies
• Proven ability to write and deliver strategic recommendations at a senior level with confidence and autonomy
• Strong leadership presence and ability to command respect from both internal teams and demanding clients
• Ability to embody and champion integrated media-creative approaches across all stakeholders
• Professional-level English recommended
• Based in or willing to relocate to Paris
• This is a permanent (CDI) position
