Behavioral Specialist I – ACCS

Eliot Community Human Services is hiring a full-time Behavioral Specialist I – ACCS in Arlington, Tarrant County, to work directly with clients pursuing meaningful life change and improved behavioral health. In this role, you'll be part of a compassionate team dedicated to helping individuals build resilience, develop practical coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals through evidence-based behavioral support.

About the Role

As a Behavioral Specialist I – ACCS with Eliot Community Human Services, you will provide direct behavioral health services to clients in our Arlington location. You'll implement individualized behavioral interventions, monitor progress, and work collaboratively with clinical staff to refine approaches that truly serve each client's needs. This is hands-on work with real impact—you'll help people identify their strengths and translate goals into sustainable action.

What You'll Do

• Conduct initial and ongoing behavioral assessments to understand client needs and strengths
• Design and implement personalized behavioral interventions aligned with treatment goals
• Maintain detailed, accurate clinical documentation and progress notes
• Monitor client progress and communicate outcomes to the clinical team
• Collaborate with clinicians, case managers, and other team members on integrated care
• Coach clients in building effective coping skills and resilience strategies
• Provide compassionate, respectful support that honors client dignity and autonomy

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or relevant certification a plus
• Genuine interest in behavioral health and community-based human services
• Strong interpersonal and active listening skills
• Ability to build trust with diverse client populations
• Detail-oriented with reliable, professional work habits
• Willingness to learn and apply evidence-based behavioral support methods
• Valid driver's license to serve clients across Arlington and Tarrant County
