Associate Dir, QARA MX / N. Cluster

JJ is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs (QARA) to lead quality and compliance initiatives across our North Cluster operations. This full-time leadership position spans four locations and offers the opportunity to drive quality excellence and regulatory compliance across multiple regional sites.

What This Role Involves

As Associate Director of QARA for our North Cluster, you'll oversee quality assurance and regulatory affairs functions with responsibility for ensuring compliance, managing quality systems, and leading teams across assigned facilities. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to ensure operations meet the highest quality and regulatory standards in Mexico and across the cluster.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage quality assurance and regulatory affairs teams across four cluster locations
• Develop and implement quality strategies, regulatory compliance programs, and standard operating procedures tailored to local and international requirements
• Oversee quality audits, inspections, and corrective action processes to maintain regulatory compliance
• Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and maintain required documentation and regulatory filings
• Lead root cause analysis, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives across all cluster facilities
• Train and mentor quality and regulatory affairs staff on policies, procedures, and best practices
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics, regulatory compliance status, and performance indicators

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of professional experience in quality assurance, regulatory affairs, or related fields
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams in regulated industries
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical or healthcare regulatory requirements and quality management systems
• Fluent in English and Spanish with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with quality management systems, regulatory documentation software, and data management tools
• Proven experience in Mexico or Latin American regulatory environments is highly valued
