Assistant Buyer – Supplements & Fitness

Join QVC as an Assistant Buyer – Supplements & Fitness and support the buying operations for one of the retail industry's most dynamic product categories. This is a full-time position located at one of our facilities across 2 Locations, where you'll play a key role in sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing supplements and fitness merchandise that reaches millions of customers.

Role Overview

As an Assistant Buyer, you'll work alongside experienced merchandising professionals to develop and manage product assortments in the supplements and fitness space. You'll support the complete buying cycle—from market research and vendor evaluation to procurement and inventory management—helping to ensure QVC offers competitive, high-quality products that meet customer demand.

Your Responsibilities

• Support senior buyers in analyzing market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences within supplements and fitness categories
• Research and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers to identify quality products and competitive pricing
• Assist in negotiating terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with merchandising partners
• Monitor product performance data and sales metrics to inform buying decisions
• Coordinate with logistics, inventory management, and merchandising teams to ensure smooth product flow
• Prepare reports, presentations, and product briefs for internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records of vendor communications, orders, and compliance requirements

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, marketing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
• Familiarity with the supplements or fitness industry is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and initiative in a fast-paced environment
