Analyst-Associate Money Movement

Join PIMCO as an Analyst-Associate in Money Movement, based in our San Diego office. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our global cash management and settlement operations in this full-time position.

About the Role

As an Analyst-Associate focused on Money Movement at PIMCO, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the efficient flow of capital across our investment operations. Working within a collaborative team, you'll contribute to the mission-critical functions that support our investment management platform and client relationships.

What You'll Do

• Process, settle, and reconcile cash transactions and fund transfers across multiple accounts, currencies, and investment vehicles
• Monitor daily inflows and outflows to ensure accurate and timely capital movement
• Coordinate with banking partners, operations teams, and compliance to resolve transaction exceptions and discrepancies
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of settlement instructions and transaction records
• Prepare daily and periodic cash position reporting and liquidity analysis
• Support ongoing regulatory compliance reviews and risk management protocols governing money movement
• Operate banking systems, trading platforms, and proprietary tools to execute and track fund transfers

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related discipline
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in Excel and demonstrated ability to learn financial software systems quickly
• Background or familiarity with cash management, settlement operations, or treasury functions preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work cross-functionally
• Capability to juggle multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
