Account Executive – Higher Education

We're seeking a driven, relationship-focused sales professional to expand our presence in the higher education market and help institutions transform student learning through innovative simulation-based curriculum.

About the Role

As an Account Executive, you'll be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities within universities and colleges. This is a full-time position where you'll develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions seeking to enhance their curriculum with practical, experiential learning tools.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and manage a pipeline of university and higher education prospects in your territory
• Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers, faculty, and academic administrators
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations of our Simternships platform to prospective institutions
• Understand client needs and customize solutions that align with departmental and institutional goals
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements with educational partners
• Collaborate with the implementation and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding
• Track pipeline activity and maintain accurate forecasting in our CRM system

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record in B2B software or education sales, preferably selling to higher education institutions
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
• Self-directed and results-oriented with a history of exceeding sales targets
• Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes typical in academia
• Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Familiarity with the higher education landscape, marketing, business, accounting, or communications disciplines is a plus
