AI Solutions Engineer (m/w/d)

Our talent team is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to help scale intelligent automation and machine learning capabilities across enterprise operations. Responsibilities

• Design and maintain architecture, data quality, observability, and adoption strategies for AI systems deployed across the organization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze operational workflows, identify automation opportunities, and determine optimal AI versus traditional automation approaches
• Build and deploy production-grade LLM agents, semantic applications, and deterministic automation workflows from prototype to production
• Transform individual use-case learnings into reusable platform capabilities including knowledge layers, system integrations, and cloud-based agent environments
• Develop SDKs, APIs, and documentation to enable internal teams to independently leverage AI tooling
• Conduct technical enablement sessions, workshops, and pair-programming to upskill engineering teams in AI-fluent development practices
• Implement evaluation frameworks, cost tracking, latency monitoring, and guardrails for production AI workflows
• Write production-quality code while balancing delivery speed with system reliability
• Ensure all solutions meet corporate IT security, data privacy, and compliance requirements

What We're Looking For

• Action-oriented builder with proven ability to rapidly prototype functional solutions and refine them into reliable production systems
• Strong backend development skills in Python with experience in REST APIs, microservices, databases, and modern cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Deep enthusiasm for the AI landscape with a track record of self-directed experimentation with emerging models, agentic frameworks, and new tooling
• Ability to recognize patterns across use cases and translate them into modular, scalable platform components
• Talent for quickly understanding complex business workflows and identifying where AI delivers genuine value
• Passion for knowledge sharing through pair-programming, workshops, and daily collaboration with technical and non-technical colleagues
• Experience balancing innovation with production reliability and security requirements

Location & Work Arrangement

This position is based in Munich with flexible working arrangements including mobile work from home and options to work up to 20 days in other European locations.
