(Senior) Project Manager (m/w/d) – Rooftop PV Systems (Emobility & BESS)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential renewable energy organization seeking a Project Manager to lead the technical delivery of rooftop photovoltaic installations combined with battery energy storage systems and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

You will own the technical implementation from initial planning through construction, client handover, and internal transition to ongoing service teams. Your role includes managing all health, safety, and environmental compliance measures on site.

You will ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines while actively managing and optimizing project budgets. As the primary point of contact, you will communicate project status and progress to both internal teams and external stakeholders, including presenting updates and handling client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in engineering (electrical, energy, or related discipline) or comparable technical qualification with relevant professional experience
• Proven track record as a project manager in industrial plant construction, ideally with practical experience in rooftop PV systems above 500 kWp
• Knowledge of grid integration for renewable energy systems
• Experience with EPC contracts, client acceptance procedures, plant certifications, and commissioning of PV installations
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability coordinating internal and external stakeholders
• Self-directed, structured, and responsible working style
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
• Valid Class B driver's license
