Our talent team is representing a confidential technology consulting organization in France that has pioneered an AI-first approach to software engineering. This Lead Architect role is based in Paris and focuses on driving cutting-edge AI-native development methodologies that accelerate delivery cycles while maintaining enterprise-grade quality standards.

As an AI Native Lead Architect, you'll lead high-impact engineering initiatives from discovery through delivery, working with generative AI tools to transform how software is built. You'll be responsible for technical excellence, team development, and client success while ensuring alignment with modern AI-enhanced engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Define service boundaries and reference architectures aligned with SLOs, security policies, and cost optimization objectives
• Drive engineering context (functional and technical) within product repositories, ensuring transparency and quality through automated PR templates and documentation standards
• Conduct risk and threat analyses, balancing performance, privacy, sustainability, and security considerations
• Design and implement safeguards in CI/CD pipelines including sensitive data anonymization, license verification, and compliance gates to ensure enterprise-grade quality
• Continuously improve key metrics related to energy efficiency, cloud costs, and system accessibility
• Facilitate collaboration with technical sponsors and product teams as the technical expertise reference
• Participate in pitch phases, proof-of-concept development, and ecosystem artifact creation
• Mentor and guide development teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement while ensuring technical delivery
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and improvement suggestions
• Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, evaluating their potential impact on business operations and team performance

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software architecture and development (Java,.NET, Python, React, Angular, or similar) with strong technical aptitude and hands-on capability
• Deep expertise in designing and scaling cloud-native applications or AI-first architectures
• Advanced knowledge of CI/CD processes, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization technologies, and DevSecOps practices
• Familiarity with UX-as-Code approaches and design system thinking
• Proven ability to mentor and guide diverse teams in developing and implementing technical solutions
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Understanding of prompt engineering principles for optimal AI tool interaction
• High knowledge and curiosity about AI/ML technologies, including OpenAI API, LangChain, Hugging Face, and context engineering
• Critical and analytical thinking to validate and verify AI-generated code and solutions
• Continuous learning mindset to stay current with the rapidly evolving AI landscape
• Sensitivity to social, environmental, and Tech For Good issues with integration into solutions you build

The role is based in Paris with a remote-friendly arrangement depending on the project. Some days will require presence at client sites or the company office in République, Paris for team meetings. Some assignments may require full on-site presence.
