AEP Returning Agents 1099

About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential Medicare insurance organization seeking experienced Licensed Insurance Agents for the Annual Enrollment Period. This is a 1099 contractor position for professionals who have previously worked with Medicare products and are ready to return for AEP season.

If you hold active health insurance licenses and current certifications, we want to connect you with this opportunity to serve Medicare-eligible individuals across the United States in a remote capacity.

Responsibilities

• Educate clients about Medicare benefits and coverage options including Parts C and D, Medicare Supplement, and ancillary products
• Assist individuals with plan enrollment and transitions between coverage options
• Conduct thorough plan comparisons and provide recommendations tailored to client needs
• Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and enrollment deadlines
• Manage both inbound and outbound calls in a high-volume sales environment while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all client interactions
• Provide excellent customer service to resolve issues and answer client questions

What We're Looking For

• Valid health insurance license (active and in good standing)
• Proof of release for any requested carrier contracts
• Current plan year AHIP certification (must be active)
• Demonstrated understanding of sales principles and ability to generate revenue
• Ability to work in full compliance with CMS Federal regulations
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Previous experience working as a returning agent during Annual Enrollment Period preferred
