This part-time position offers the opportunity to specialize in acute rehabilitation nursing while maintaining schedule flexibility.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor clinical status, vital signs, and recovery progress throughout shifts
- Administer medications, manage intravenous therapy, and oversee wound care following established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care team members to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans
- Provide patient and family education on discharge planning, medication management, and at-home recovery strategies
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and communicate patient updates to the healthcare team
- Advocate for patient needs and support comfort, dignity, and functional progress throughout their rehabilitation stay
What We're Looking For
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
- Demonstrated competency in acute patient care and clinical nursing skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with diverse patient populations and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to patient-centered care and rehabilitation nursing principles
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a structured, fast-paced clinical environment
- Reliable, punctual attendance for assigned shifts
