About the Role

As an Account Executive at Popmenu, you'll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification through deal closure and initial onboarding support. You'll work with independent restaurants, multi-unit operators, and emerging food and beverage brands in your territory, helping them implement Popmenu's platform to solve pain points in operations, customer engagement, and revenue management. This is a consultative, territory-based role where you'll build lasting relationships with customers who view you as a trusted advisor, not just a vendor.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Prospect, research, and conduct outreach to restaurant operators and decision-makers across New York and assigned territories
• Conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations tailored to each restaurant's operational challenges and goals
• Develop and present customized solutions that align Popmenu's capabilities with customer objectives
• Negotiate contracts, manage pricing discussions, and navigate competitive deals to close revenue targets
• Collaborate with implementation and support teams to ensure smooth customer transitions post-sale
• Maintain an organized pipeline and forecasting in our CRM; provide weekly and monthly sales reporting

Who We're Looking For

• Two or more years of SaaS, software, or technology sales experience, with proven quota attainment
• Demonstrated ability to research, identify decision-makers, and navigate complex sales cycles
• Strong communication skills—written and verbal—to educate prospects and build confidence
• Self-directed mindset with discipline around pipeline management and consistent follow-up
• Familiarity with the restaurant industry, food and beverage operations, or hospitality technology is a plus
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment and collaborating across distributed teams
