People Ops Generalist

Popmenu is looking for a People Ops Generalist to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a full-time role where you'll support the growth and success of our people operations function, working directly with employees and leadership to build a strong, engaged workplace culture.

Position Summary

As a People Ops Generalist, you'll serve as a key member of our human resources and operations team, bridging the gap between our employees and leadership. You'll own a wide range of people operations responsibilities—from recruitment and onboarding through employee relations and compliance. This role requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in creating a positive experience for our team.

What You'll Do

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation
• Oversee new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition and positive first experience
• Maintain employee records, documentation, and HRIS systems with accuracy and confidentiality
• Support payroll coordination, benefits administration, and employee queries related to compensation and policy
• Coordinate performance management activities, including review cycles and documentation
• Help develop and communicate company policies, employee handbooks, and workplace procedures
• Respond to employee relations inquiries and work to resolve workplace concerns fairly and professionally
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in human resources, people operations, or related field
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
• Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with discretion and empathy
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
