About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential B2B media organization in their search for an Account Director based remotely in the United Kingdom. Our client connects technology buyers with leading solutions through trusted content and marketing services across multiple media properties.
As Account Director, you will own the full sales cycle with enterprise and mid-market accounts, engaging senior decision-makers and closing six-figure-plus deals. You'll bring a consultative approach to selling brand-to-demand activations, lead generation, advertising, content creation, and events.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans to grow client relationships and increase annual contract value
- Prospect effectively, deliver compelling sales presentations, and achieve sales quotas through disciplined time management
- Create and implement business development strategies to drive pipeline growth and identify customer needs through market research
- Craft personalized value propositions, deliver tailored proposals, and set clear expectations for offerings
- Negotiate and close complex deals, handle objections, and manage annual contract renewals
- Stay current on industry trends and competitors, and collaborate with client success teams to ensure exceptional service and repeat business
What We're Looking For
- 3–6 years of B2B media sales experience, with a proven track record securing complex, six-figure-plus deals in brand-to-demand, demand generation, and digital media
- Demonstrated success driving substantial revenue growth through both existing and net new accounts
- Unrelenting drive and competitive spirit; you consistently thrive in high-pressure environments
- Ability to craft and implement sophisticated account/territory plans with long-term growth objectives
- Skilled in diagnosing client needs and designing tailored, high-impact business solutions
- Proven success negotiating complex contracts and ensuring win-win outcomes
- Ambitious, innovative, confident, and inquisitive professional with deep expertise in digital media and demand generation
- Agile mindset—you excel in fast-paced environments and thrive on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
- Work authorization: Must be currently authorized to work in the United Kingdom at hire and maintain authorization throughout employment. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
