Role Overview

This part-time teaching role offers the opportunity to instruct Biology and Life Science to preK-12 students through Kreyco's collaborative school partnership model. As a dedicated educator, you'll help shape science literacy and cultivate curiosity about the natural world while working with diverse learners across multiple classroom settings or educational programs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging Biology and Life Science lessons aligned with state and district standards
• Create a dynamic classroom environment that supports active learning and student inquiry
• Assess student progress and tailor instruction to meet individual learning needs
• Build productive partnerships with school administrators, fellow educators, and support staff
• Maintain detailed records of student performance and instructional planning
• Foster an inclusive classroom culture where all students feel valued and challenged

Skills & Qualifications

• Current or qualifying teaching certification or credential in Biology, Life Science, or a related science discipline
• Demonstrated experience teaching science at the preK-12 level
• Strong knowledge of biology, ecology, genetics, human anatomy, or related life science content areas
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, families, and school partners
• Ability to adapt instruction for learners at different proficiency levels
• Commitment to continued professional growth and evidence-based teaching practices
