Pecos-Barstow-Toyah Independent School District is hiring a full-time Multimedia Specialist for Pecos High School. In this professional role, you'll create, manage, and deliver engaging multimedia content that supports student learning and school communications across our campus.
About the Role
As a Multimedia Specialist, you'll be the creative and technical backbone of our school's visual and audio communications. You'll work with educators, administrators, and students to produce professional-quality multimedia resources—from instructional videos and graphics to digital presentations and audio projects—that enhance teaching and engage our school community.
What You'll Do
- Produce, edit, and manage video content for classroom instruction, assemblies, announcements, and promotional materials
- Design digital graphics, infographics, and visual assets for print and web use
- Operate and maintain multimedia equipment, including cameras, audio systems, and video production software
- Collaborate with teachers and departments to understand instructional needs and translate them into multimedia projects
- Manage school digital media assets and coordinate the distribution of content across platforms
- Train students and staff on multimedia tools and best practices
- Support school events, productions, and public relations initiatives with technical expertise
- Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain production equipment and software
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency with professional video and audio editing software
- Strong skills in graphic design and digital content creation
- Hands-on experience with multimedia equipment and digital production workflows
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Bachelor's degree in multimedia, communications, fine arts, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Knowledge of current trends in digital media and educational technology
