About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential client in the global mobility technology sector for a 6-month contract project. We're seeking a Senior AQA Engineer with deep Python expertise to join their quality engineering team in Poland.

This is a focused engagement working on backend and API test automation for services that operate at significant scale across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated backend and API test suites
• Test backend services and perform thorough analysis of test results
• Maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and quality documentation
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Collaborate closely with development teams, technical operations, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality practices

What We're Looking For

Required Experience and Skills:

• 5+ years of overall software engineering experience
• 3+ years of hands-on test automation experience with primary focus on backend systems
• Strong proficiency in Python and Pytest framework
• Proven experience testing REST and gRPC APIs
• Solid understanding of microservices and client-server architecture patterns
• Comfortable working in Linux environments with Bash scripting
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Basic SQL skills for data validation and analysis
• Experience with Kafka and/or Kibana
• Ability to analyze backend service logs and troubleshoot issues
• Basic understanding of Machine Learning concepts
• Demonstrated practical use of AI assistants in engineering workflows
