Behavioral Health Coaches (Somalia)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential telehealth organization seeking Behavioral Health Coaches in Somalia. Our client operates a digital mental health platform where practitioners deliver support through scheduled video sessions. This freelance remote role offers flexibility to set your own business hours, making it an excellent opportunity to supplement your current practice or employment.

As part of our client's practitioner community, you'll provide accessible mental health coaching to clients working through everyday challenges such as work stress, career transitions, and personal development goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one telehealth professional coaching sessions (typically 30 minutes) via video platform
• Support clients with sub-clinical concerns including work stress, procrastination, work-life balance, and career development
• Guide clients in establishing personal and professional goals, improving relationships, and achieving behavioral change
• Collaborate with the internal clinical team to recommend program and platform improvements
• Maintain professional standards and documentation consistent with your certification requirements

What We're Looking For

• Active International Coaching Federation (ICF) Certification OR Master's/Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling
• ICF Coaches: minimum 200 coaching hours completed
• Counsellors: minimum 300 clinical hours post-graduation
• Proficiency in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, or SFBT
• Fluency in English and local Somali language
• Prior experience with Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), adult counselling, or coaching in managerial contexts is strongly preferred
• Comfort with telehealth technology and remote session delivery
