About This Position

Gartner is seeking a seasoned Account Executive to drive revenue growth across Large Enterprise accounts in the Wisconsin region. Working remotely, you'll manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with organizations that rely on Gartner's research and advisory services to make strategic business decisions. This role blends consultative selling with account management, requiring both hunter instincts and farmer discipline to grow existing relationships and land new logos within your territory.

What You'll Do

  • Identify, qualify, and close new Large Enterprise opportunities within your assigned territory
  • Develop and execute account strategies that expand Gartner's footprint across multiple business units and departments
  • Navigate complex organizational structures and decision-making processes at C-suite and senior executive levels
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships that position Gartner as a trusted strategic advisor
  • Manage your sales pipeline with discipline, forecasting accurately and maintaining detailed opportunity records
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Customer Success, and cross-functional teams to accelerate deal progression
  • Exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets while maintaining appropriate deal sizes and margins

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of enterprise software or B2B services sales experience, ideally in research, advisory, or consulting
  • Proven success closing Large Enterprise deals with complex sales cycles and multiple decision-makers
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities
  • Comfort thriving in a remote work environment with self-directed discipline and accountability
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and ability to maintain disciplined sales hygiene
  • Strong work ethic, resilience, and coachability driven by continuous improvement
  • Willingness to travel for strategic client meetings and company events as applicable
