Senior DevOps Engineer – Remote

Join CLANX as a Senior DevOps Engineer in a full-time, fully remote position. We're seeking an accomplished infrastructure specialist to architect and operate cloud systems, automate deployment workflows, and support AI-driven applications across multiple cloud platforms.

About the Role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at CLANX, you'll design, build, and maintain production-grade infrastructure that powers enterprise AI workloads. This is an opportunity to take ownership of critical systems, drive automation initiatives, and collaborate with engineering and ML teams to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operate infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud platforms
• Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost efficiency, reliability, and scalability
• Own the complete CI/CD pipeline—from code commit through automated deployment to production
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or equivalent frameworks
• Containerize applications and manage orchestration at scale using Docker and Kubernetes
• Set up and operate GPU-enabled infrastructure for AI model training and inference
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure operational visibility
• Support hardened, network-isolated deployments that meet enterprise security and compliance requirements
• Work with ML and data science teams to scale training and inference workloads
• Collaborate with security and engineering teams to strengthen infrastructure resilience and operational maturity
• Create and maintain infrastructure documentation and operational runbooks

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or site reliability engineering
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong expertise with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform
• Competency with Git, GitHub Actions, or comparable automation platforms
• Understanding of observability—monitoring, centralized logging, and alerting systems
• Experience architecting and operating production infrastructure with focus on reliability and scale
• Knowledge of cloud networking: VPCs, security groups, and cloud-native services
• Familiarity with GPU infrastructure and ML workload deployment (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
