Test Engineer III / Quality Assurance Engineer

Jobgether is hiring a Test Engineer III / Quality Assurance Engineer for a fully remote position based in the US. This is a full-time role leading comprehensive quality assurance and testing initiatives for complex software systems.

Position Summary

We're seeking an accomplished QA professional to drive testing excellence across our engineering organization. In this senior quality assurance role, you'll own the complete testing lifecycle—from strategy and test design through execution, validation, and post-release monitoring. Your expertise will help our teams ship reliable, performant software while building stronger quality practices across the company. You'll work closely with engineers, product leads, and users to identify risks early, prevent issues in production, and continuously improve our testing capabilities.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing activities including test planning, strategy development, and quality metrics definition
• Design, build, and maintain comprehensive test automation frameworks to maximize coverage and reduce manual testing burden
• Execute functional, performance, and integration testing against complex software applications and systems
• Partner with engineering and product teams to identify quality risks, define acceptance criteria, and validate releases
• Manage test documentation, defect tracking, and quality reporting throughout the development lifecycle
• Mentor and support QA team members, sharing best practices and advancing testing standards organization-wide
• Champion continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and processes

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional QA or software testing experience, with proven track record in senior-level quality assurance roles
• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks and scripting; proficiency with modern testing tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Demonstrated ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans for complex, mission-critical applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Clear communication skills and ability to document findings and recommendations professionally
