DevOps Engineer

Jobgether seeks a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our remote team supporting infrastructure operations across Romania. This is a full-time position where you'll build, automate, and optimize the systems that power our digital platforms at scale.

Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer in this remote role, you will take ownership of infrastructure design, implementation, and management across hybrid cloud environments. You'll partner with software developers, quality assurance specialists, and operations staff to create reliable, automated systems that accelerate deployment cycles and improve platform uptime. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure spanning cloud platforms and on-premises environments
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and reduce manual processes
• Monitor system performance and implement solutions that increase reliability and reduce downtime
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize workflows
• Automate routine operational tasks and document infrastructure configurations for team knowledge sharing
• Implement security practices and system hardening across all infrastructure layers

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar infrastructure role
• Strong proficiency with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining deployment pipelines and automation tools
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix system administration and networking fundamentals
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across technical teams
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to system reliability and performance
