Maintenance Technician – EPA Certified

Weinstein Properties is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified for our Grapevine, TX community. We're seeking an experienced maintenance professional to join our supportive team and help keep our residential property running smoothly and looking its best.

The Opportunity

The position includes competitive hourly pay starting at $23 (more based on experience), on-call compensation, potential quarterly bonuses, and excellent benefits including health coverage, rent discounts, and retirement support.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and complete work orders for occupied and vacant residential units
• Perform apartment turnovers and make-ready preparations between residents
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing fixtures, appliances, and carpentry work
• Maintain and improve the overall appearance of the property, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure the community operates efficiently and safely

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on apartment or residential maintenance experience
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)
• Demonstrated expertise in HVAC troubleshooting and repair work
• Genuine commitment to customer service and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Comfort managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record
• Proficiency with computers and work order management systems
• Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and work both indoors and outdoors year-round
• Skill with hand and power tools
• Ability to operate a golf cart
• Willingness to pass a background check
