Rippling is seeking a Senior Security Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team in New York, NY. As a key player in our security strategy, you will ensure the integrity and protection of our systems and data.

About the Role

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain robust security controls.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Perform incident response and manage security breaches to minimize impact.
• Stay updated on emerging security threats and trends, and recommend proactive measures to enhance security posture.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and monitoring of security controls across our systems and networks.
• Partner with IT and business teams to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Provide security training and awareness to employees to foster a culture of security.
• Document and report security incidents and findings to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident response plans.

What We're Looking For

• At least 7 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security assurance.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Proficient in security tools and technologies, including vulnerability scanners and incident response tools.
• Experience with security risk assessment and management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
