Accounts Payable Specialist (E4A Solutions – A Subsidiary of Riot Platforms)

E4A Solutions, a subsidiary of Riot Platforms, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Houston, TX. This full-time position offers the opportunity to manage critical AP operations within a growing organization.

About This Position

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to own our AP operations and ensure smooth financial workflows. In this role, you'll process vendor payments accurately and on time, maintain strong vendor relationships, and collaborate with our accounting team and department managers. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and contributing meaningfully to a company's financial health.

Your Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, coding, and payment scheduling
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies
• Manage vendor master file updates and maintenance
• Prepare accounts payable aging reports and accrual schedules
• Coordinate with department managers and vendors to resolve payment inquiries and invoice disputes
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Maintain organized, accurate records of all AP transactions

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of accounts payable experience or equivalent accounting background
• Proficiency with accounting software platforms and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines
• Professional communication and collaborative working style
• High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree in accounting preferred)
• Knowledge of GAAP principles is advantageous
