What This Role Involves

As an SLP at Therapymgmt, you'll evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in long-term care settings. You'll work directly with patients to identify communication challenges, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy that helps residents regain independence and quality of life. Your clinical expertise will make a tangible difference in the daily lives of the people in our care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive speech and language assessments for residents with various diagnoses
  • Develop, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans based on client needs and progress
  • Document clinical findings, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with healthcare standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including nursing, occupational therapy, and physical therapy staff
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and therapy goals
  • Stay current with best practices and contribute to the professional development of the therapy department

What You Bring

  • Current Speech-Language Pathology certification and state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Strong clinical foundation and genuine interest in working with older adults and complex cases
  • Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills
