IT Administrator

Prime System Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to manage our technology infrastructure and support operations in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. This full-time position offers the opportunity to take ownership of our systems, networks, and user support in a growing organisation.

What This Role Involves

As IT Administrator at Prime System Solutions, you will oversee the day-to-day management of our computing infrastructure, ensuring systems remain secure, stable, and performant. You'll be the first point of contact for technical issues, balancing immediate user support with strategic infrastructure planning. This role is essential to keeping our business operations running smoothly across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and networking equipment
• Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security credentials across systems
• Perform regular system backups, monitor storage, and ensure data recovery procedures are in place
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements
• Apply security patches, system updates, and firmware upgrades in a timely manner
• Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and IT policies
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware maintenance and software licensing
• Support the deployment and integration of new applications and platforms

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar technical support role
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server operating systems
• Experience managing networks, firewalls, and VPNs
• Familiarity with active directory, user account management, and access control
• Competence with backup solutions and disaster recovery procedures
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to support
• Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, MCSA, or equivalent) are preferred
