Site Manager

Prestage is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to lead operations at our Sigourney, Iowa facility. This full-time role offers the opportunity to oversee facility management, ensure operational efficiency, and foster a culture of safety and excellence at our livestock operation.

About This Position

As Site Manager at our Sigourney, Iowa location, you'll manage day-to-day facility operations, coordinate with production teams, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all facility operations including production schedules, staff management, and maintenance coordination
• Monitor and manage facility budgets, operating expenses, and capital projects within approval limits
• Ensure compliance with USDA, EPA, state, and local regulations specific to livestock operations
• Maintain comprehensive facility records including production data, safety logs, and environmental reports
• Supervise and mentor the production team, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to protect employees and animals
• Coordinate with veterinary services, nutrition specialists, and corporate support teams
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce waste

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience managing livestock operations or agricultural facilities
• Knowledge of swine production, facility systems, and animal husbandry practices
• Proficiency with computer systems and data management applications
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
• Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours as operational needs require
