Senior Finance Executive

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Executive to join PolicyStreet in Bangsar South, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead financial strategy and drive operational excellence within our growing financial technology organisation.

Role Overview

As Senior Finance Executive, you will oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting whilst ensuring robust financial controls and compliance. You will partner with senior leadership to deliver strategic financial insights that guide business decisions and support our mission to empower Malaysian consumers with transparent, accessible financial guidance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive annual and long-term financial plans aligned with corporate strategy
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and statutory financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Lead financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling to identify trends and business opportunities
• Manage accounting operations, general ledger processes, and accuracy of all financial records
• Implement and optimise financial systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and controls
• Supervise finance team members and provide coaching to support professional development
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and key performance indicators across the business
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required

Skills & Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or equivalent recognised credential)
• 7–10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a senior financial role
• Expert-level knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and analysis
• Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel capabilities
• Strong understanding of Malaysian tax law, financial regulation, and corporate governance
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder relationship skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy
