PolicyStreet is recruiting a Partnership Lead for our Kuala Lumpur office. In this full-time, on-site role, you will spearhead the development and management of strategic partnerships that expand our reach within Malaysia's insurance and financial services ecosystem.

Position Summary

As Partnership Lead at PolicyStreet, you will be instrumental in identifying, negotiating, and nurturing partnerships with insurance providers, distribution channels, and complementary fintech platforms. This role sits at the intersection of business development and strategic planning, requiring both entrepreneurial drive and relationship-building expertise to unlock growth opportunities across the region.

Core Duties

  • Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities aligned with PolicyStreet's growth strategy and market positioning
  • Lead end-to-end partnership negotiations, including commercial terms, technical integration requirements, and performance frameworks
  • Build and maintain relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, aggregators, and technology partners across Malaysia
  • Develop partnership proposals and business cases demonstrating clear value and revenue potential for all parties
  • Oversee partnership implementation and ongoing management, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives and key performance metrics
  • Analyse market trends and competitive dynamics to identify emerging partnership opportunities in ASEAN markets
  • Collaborate with product, operations, marketing, and legal teams to ensure seamless partnership execution

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven track record managing business partnerships or strategic alliances in financial services, insurance, or technology sectors
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience with commercial contract management
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship management and communication abilities
  • Experience in business development or market expansion within ASEAN is highly desirable
  • Analytical mindset with comfort working with performance metrics, forecasting, and business metrics
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, finance, or related discipline
