Management Accountant

We're looking for a Management Accountant to join Pinewood.AI in Solihull, England. This is a full-time opportunity to take ownership of financial planning, analysis, and reporting that drives informed business decisions across the organisation.

About This Position

As Management Accountant at Pinewood.AI, you'll be instrumental in translating financial data into strategic insights. Based in Solihull, you'll work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis that keeps the business on track. Core Duties

• Prepare and maintain management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules
• Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts; analyse variances and report findings to leadership
• Conduct cost analysis and variance reporting to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Produce regular management reports and dashboards to support decision-making
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Contribute to process improvements in financial reporting and controls

What You Bring

• Professional accounting qualification (CCAB, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) or substantial relevant experience
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Excel; experience with ERP systems is valued
• Solid understanding of management accounting principles, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial information
• Clear communicator who can explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
