We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to drive revenue growth, build strategic client partnerships, and deliver exceptional service to our most valued accounts across South Africa.

About the Role

As a Key Account Manager at Pinewood.AI, you will own the complete lifecycle of high-value client relationships. This role combines strategic account planning, business development, and relationship management to ensure sustained growth and retention of our most important customers in the Johannesburg region and broader South Africa market. You will be the primary point of contact for key accounts, responsible for understanding their business objectives and aligning our solutions to drive mutual success.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans for assigned strategic accounts, identifying growth opportunities and revenue expansion strategies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level decision makers and stakeholders within assigned accounts
• Monitor account health and performance metrics, proactively addressing concerns and optimising customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with internal teams including sales, product, and support to ensure seamless service delivery and problem resolution
• Prepare and present regular account reviews and business performance updates to key clients
• Identify and capitalise on cross-selling and upselling opportunities aligned with client needs
• Forecast revenue and manage pipeline for assigned accounts with accuracy and transparency
• Represent Pinewood.AI in client meetings and industry events, building brand awareness and thought leadership

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven track record in key account management or strategic account sales, ideally within technology or professional services sectors
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at executive levels
• Demonstrated experience managing complex B2B relationships and multi-stakeholder environments
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
• Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
• Knowledge of South African business landscape and regional market dynamics is advantageous
• Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
• Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
