About This Position

As a Cut Floor Supervisor at Prestage, you'll manage production workflows on the cut floor, overseeing team performance and operational efficiency. You'll report to plant management and be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and productive work environment while meeting daily production targets and quality specifications.

Core Duties

• Supervise and direct cut floor team members during assigned shifts
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with USDA and company standards
• Manage production schedules and coordinate workflow between stations
• Conduct safety briefings and enforce workplace safety protocols
• Train new and existing employees on cutting procedures and equipment operation
• Document production metrics, attendance, and performance issues
• Communicate equipment needs and maintenance requests to plant management

Who We're Looking For

• Prior supervisory or lead experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of meat processing operations and cutting techniques
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and manage a diverse production team
• Solid communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with USDA food safety regulations and industry best practices
• Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment and handle physical demands of production floors
• High school diploma or GED required
