Role Overview

As an Associate Product Manager at Pinewood.AI, you'll work at the intersection of product strategy and financial technology. This full-time position in Solihull offers the opportunity to develop products that solve real problems for accounting professionals and businesses managing tax and payments. You'll partner with engineers, designers, and customer stakeholders to define product direction, ensure customer needs drive our roadmap, and deliver features that genuinely matter in the accounting and taxation sector.

Your Responsibilities

• Engage with users, accountants, and tax professionals to understand their workflows and identify product opportunities
• Define and maintain product roadmaps for accounting, taxation, and payments features
• Create detailed product specifications and requirements for engineering and design teams
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis within fintech and tax technology
• Monitor product performance through metrics, user feedback, and data-driven insights
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, operations, and business stakeholders
• Support product launches and communicate feature value to customers and users

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, product management, engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• 1–3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or product development
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working with data, metrics, and analytical frameworks
• Familiarity with product development methodologies and tools
• Prior experience in accounting software, financial services, or tax technology preferred
• Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in cross-functional team environments
