Technical Consultant (Migration)

Phoenix Software is recruiting a Technical Consultant (Migration) to join our team on a full-time, remote basis anywhere in the United Kingdom. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced migration specialist to drive transformational technology projects for our clients.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a skilled migration consultant who thrives on designing and delivering complex technology transitions. You'll work directly with clients across various sectors, translating their business challenges into clear migration strategies. Your Responsibilities

• Assess existing systems, infrastructure, and applications to identify migration opportunities and potential risks
• Develop comprehensive migration roadmaps tailored to client needs, timelines, and budgets
• Guide clients through all stages of migration projects, from planning through execution and post-implementation support
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve blockers that arise during migration phases
• Communicate progress, outcomes, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Maintain detailed technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure migration success and minimal business disruption

Requirements

• Proven experience planning and executing technology migrations in professional settings
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, cloud platforms, and systems architecture
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders simultaneously
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in technical documentation and diagramming tools
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
