Role Overview

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies aligned with client goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and media contacts across relevant beats
  • Craft compelling press releases, media pitches, fact sheets, and other communications materials
  • Secure media placements and manage coverage across print, digital, broadcast, and online outlets
  • Monitor media coverage, analyze results, and prepare detailed reports demonstrating campaign impact
  • Serve as primary account contact, providing regular status updates and strategic counsel to clients
  • Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities within client industries and markets
  • Collaborate with internal teams including creative, strategy, and accounts on integrated campaigns

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in public relations, agency account management, or related communications role
  • Demonstrated ability to develop media relationships and secure coverage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to craft clear, persuasive messaging
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities
  • Proficiency with media database tools and PR software platforms
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple clients simultaneously
  • Understanding of media landscape, newsworthy storytelling, and earned media strategy
