Cybersecurity Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential cybersecurity consultancy seeking a Cybersecurity Manager in München. In this role, you will:

• Assume overall responsibility for cybersecurity projects, key initiatives, and organizational development within the security domain
• Lead strategic consulting, design, and implementation of cybersecurity solutions for clients
• Ensure achievement of defined milestones and project objectives through effective planning and execution
• Manage stakeholder communication and facilitate status meetings across project teams
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, project leads, and team members, representing deliverables externally
• Assess client cybersecurity posture and contribute to development of new service offerings
• Analyze complex processes and systems, particularly in Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Design solution concepts and IT security architectures aligned with business requirements
• Support new client acquisition efforts and business development activities
• Conduct IT vulnerability assessments and risk evaluations of information security incidents
• Lead transformation initiatives in cybersecurity and contribute to internal methodology development

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or related discipline
• 5–8 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, including implementation of Zero Trust concepts and technologies
• Experience with Identity & Access Management, Azure AD, Zero Trust frameworks, and security architecture design strongly preferred
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and management experience
• Strong understanding of business processes within cybersecurity contexts
• In-depth knowledge of networking and comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity architectures and principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to address complex security challenges
• Outstanding communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• Enthusiasm for digital strategies, processes, and emerging security technologies
• Team player who is highly motivated, adaptable, and proactive
• Willingness to travel as required for client engagements
• Solid project management expertise
• Excellent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both languages required)
