About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital solutions organization seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex digital communications initiatives. This role focuses on CMS-based platforms, websites, and ongoing digital operations, working at the intersection of technology, creative, and content teams. You'll take ownership of high-impact projects while actively shaping client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.

Location: Mainz, Germany (flexible remote options available)

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex digital implementation projects, managing scope, budget, quality, and timelines with precision
• Focus primarily on CMS-based information platforms, websites, and their continuous development and operations
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including technology, UX, design, creative, and content specialists
• Partner closely with clients to understand requirements and challenges, translating them into concrete project goals and solutions
• Identify new opportunities and potentials within existing client relationships, actively developing projects beyond initial delivery
• Contribute your project expertise to proposals, tenders, and pitches (with room to develop these skills if needed)
• Navigate complex stakeholder environments with clarity and professionalism, ensuring strong collaboration even in challenging situations

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience managing digital implementation projects, ideally around websites, information platforms, or CMS-based solutions
• A proactive approach to project management—you want to shape projects, solutions, and client relationships, not just administer them
• Genuine interest in understanding client challenges, recognizing potential, and developing appropriate solutions with interdisciplinary teams
• Comfort working with both technical teams and creative disciplines (communication, UX, design, content)
• Familiarity with various project methodologies (agile and traditional) and the judgment to apply them appropriately; certifications are a plus but not required
• Experience in presales, business development, tenders, or proposal creation is advantageous but not mandatory
• Background in public sector or public-adjacent industry projects is ideal
• Completed degree or equivalent practical qualification
• Excellent German language skills (written and spoken); ability to communicate confidently with diverse stakeholders
