(Senior) Finance Technology Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential data platform organization seeking a Finance Technology Manager to drive transformation across their finance operations. In this role, you will:

• Lead transformation and optimization projects spanning multiple finance functions
• Analyze, improve, and standardize end-to-end finance processes including Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, and Purchase-to-Pay
• Implement and develop ERP and finance systems while digitizing reporting and controlling processes
• Design and implement automation solutions such as robotic process automation (RPA)
• Collaborate closely with Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Accounts Receivable Management, IT teams, and external partners
• Identify efficiency opportunities and implement sustainable improvements
• Support change management initiatives to help teams adopt new processes and structures

What We're Looking For

• A degree in business administration, economics, business information systems, or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in finance transformation, consulting, or a project-focused finance role
• Strong knowledge of finance processes and their end-to-end optimization
• Proven experience leading complex projects and cross-functional teams
• Deep understanding of ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA and reporting solutions
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Hands-on approach with the ability to work independently in a structured manner
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels
• Fluency in both German and English
