Office Technology Product Owner

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential global communications organization seeking an Office Technology Product Owner based in London. In this role, you will own the product roadmap, standards, and backlog for critical workplace technology including meeting rooms, room booking systems, print infrastructure, digital signage, and building-access technology.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Owning the roadmap, standards and backlog for meeting rooms, room booking, print and signage systems
• Driving a consistent, reliable and modern in-office technology experience across multiple locations
• Governing third-party vendor operations and approving change requests before production deployment
• Managing hardware standards, lifecycle planning and refresh cycles
• Partnering with facilities teams and business units on room and workplace technology requirements
• Prioritizing demand and leading continuous improvement initiatives
• Defining service outcomes, standards and SLAs that managed service partners deliver against
• Governing vendor performance, managing demand and escalations while retaining organizational accountability for service delivery
• Approving partner-delivered changes before they reach production environments

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a proven product owner with demonstrable experience managing office technology services at scale. The ideal candidate will bring:

• Product or service ownership experience specifically for meeting-room and office technology environments
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Teams Rooms, AV systems, digital signage, print platforms and room-booking technologies
• Hardware lifecycle and standards management experience
• Vendor governance skills and SLA management capability
• Strong backlog and stakeholder management abilities
• Demonstrable product ownership experience for the relevant technology stack
• Experience governing third-party or managed-service delivery against defined SLAs
• Relevant certifications and/or degree, or equivalent practical experience

• Ability to own product/service vision, roadmap and prioritized backlog
• Balance user experience, security, cost and operational stability in decision-making
• Hold delivery partners accountable against agreed outcomes and SLAs
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Use data and user feedback to drive continuous improvement

This is a hybrid position requiring office presence approximately four days per week in London.
