Responsibilities

Our client, a confidential digital marketing agency in Düsseldorf, needs an Art Director to own the complete newsletter creation process from concept to delivery. You'll work on email campaigns for e-commerce brands across multiple industries.

Each day, you'll receive briefs for sale announcements, product launches, and category features. You'll craft the campaign strategy, write subject lines and body copy, design layouts using the company's design system in Figma, adapt graphics (sometimes using AI tools), and deliver finished newsletters ready for client approval and deployment. You'll manage 30-40 brand accounts simultaneously, quickly learning each brand's voice and visual identity.

This is not a role where you hand off your work to others. You'll see every campaign through from brief to inbox, with direct visibility into performance results.

What We're Looking For

  • Copywriting strength: You write persuasive, conversion-focused copy quickly and confidently
  • Visual judgment: Strong aesthetic sense and willingness to work hands-on with design tools
  • Rapid learning ability: You master new software and workflows in days, not weeks
  • Self-direction and ambition: You take feedback constructively and improve continuously
  • AI fluency: Comfortable integrating AI tools into your creative process
  • Full ownership mindset: You want to be accountable for complete deliverables, not isolated tasks
  • 100% on-site commitment: This role requires daily collaboration in the Düsseldorf office

Prior experience with Figma, email marketing, or formal design training is not required. We prioritize instinct, speed, and attitude over credentials.
