BIM-Koordinator:in (m/w/d) (Remote)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential infrastructure engineering organization based in Essen, Germany, seeking a BIM Coordinator to join their team on a remote or hybrid basis. Our client is an established engineering services provider specializing in critical infrastructure projects across telecommunications, energy, retail, and mobility sectors.

This is a permanent, full-time position ideal for a BIM professional who wants to shape digital planning processes and build standardized component libraries from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain digital component libraries, templates, and families for the organization
• Develop and implement automated model checking and quality control processes
• Create parametric building components and component groups
• Establish and document BIM planning standards and guidelines across project teams
• Specify and manage data exchange protocols for BIM applications
• Verify BIM data transfers and ensure technical data quality
• Set up data management systems within a Common Data Environment (CDE)
• Ensure compliance with established standards through training, workshops, and regular audits
• Provide technical support to internal team members on BIM workflows

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or comparable qualification
• Experience building and managing standards and component libraries
• Proficiency with Revit or comparable BIM software applications
• Knowledge of model checking tools and visual programming editors (advantage)
• Python knowledge is optional but beneficial
• Strong command of MS Office products
• Precise, independent, and structured working style with conceptual thinking abilities
• Very good German language skills (required for team collaboration and documentation)
• Experience in critical infrastructure or telecommunications projects is advantageous
