Werkstudent*in Finance (Schwerpunkt Accounting/Controlling)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential client in München seeking a working student to support their finance team with a focus on accounting and controlling functions.

In this role, you will:

• Learn practical applications of modern AI tools to support analyses, reporting, and forecasting processes for data-driven decision-making
• Assist with analyses, reports, and reporting materials for monthly key performance indicator discussions
• Create outgoing invoices and customer invoices, and process invoice inquiries and changes as part of receivables management
• Support the recording and posting of incoming invoices, travel expenses, and credit card statements
• Gain insights into accounts receivable and accounts payable, potentially participating in payment runs as well as monthly and annual closing processes
• Contribute your own ideas for optimizing processes and developing billing-relevant workflows

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled at a university for at least 3 more semesters, ideally studying business administration or a comparable field
• Available to work 16-20 hours per week
• Strong numerical understanding with careful, detail-oriented work habits and the ability to maintain overview even with complex tasks
• Interest in analytical tasks and business relationships, with enjoyment of working with numbers
• Quick comprehension skills and meticulous working style
• Strong communication skills, engagement, and ability to work independently
• Fluent German and very good English skills, both written and verbal
