Data Portfolio Lead – Learning Content (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential EdTech organization seeking a Data Portfolio Lead - Learning Content to drive the strategic, technical, and operational development of their data training portfolio. You will ensure that technical training programs are academically rigorous, pedagogically excellent, and commercially successful while supporting the development of a scalable, market-leading portfolio for technical professionals.

In this role, you will combine curriculum strategy, product management, and subject-matter leadership. You will oversee the end-to-end development of new training programs and collaborate closely with learning content engineers, engineering teams, sales, marketing, and executive leadership. A key part of your mission will be building and advancing an AI-supported content production model to ensure learning offerings maintain the highest technical, didactic, and economic standards.

Core responsibilities include:

• Owning the strategy, roadmap, and market positioning of the data training portfolio
• Providing subject-matter and operational leadership for a team of learning content engineers
• Managing end-to-end conception, development, quality assurance, and launch of new training programs
• Developing competency models, skill mappings, and scalable training architectures for diverse audiences and learning paths
• Ensuring technical, didactic, and pedagogical quality alongside commercial viability of the portfolio
• Conducting data-driven analysis and continuous optimization based on KPIs, market feedback, and emerging technology trends
• Managing resources, budgets, external subject-matter experts, and AI-assisted content production processes for scalability

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in a STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering) or equivalent qualification
• Deep subject-matter expertise in data and AI, with strong understanding of current technology trends
• Several years of experience developing technical training programs, curricula, or learning products, ideally in tech or EdTech environments
• Proven experience in portfolio, product, or curriculum management including planning, prioritization, and steering complex projects
• Experience leading teams or managing external experts and stakeholders
• Technical fluency with modern tools and workflows such as learning platforms, Git, or AI-assisted content production processes
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Fluency in German (C2) and English (C1)
