Working Student – IT Support & Operations (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential aerospace technology client in Bavaria, Germany, seeking a Working Student for IT Support & Operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a technical environment while supporting day-to-day IT operations. You'll work alongside experienced IT professionals and contribute directly to keeping technical infrastructure running smoothly across all departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, configure, and distribute IT hardware including laptops, monitors, smartphones, and accessories
• Install and perform basic configuration of operating systems and standard software
• Support the IT team in handling simple IT support tickets
• Assist employees with basic hardware and software-related issues
• Receive, inspect, and process returned IT equipment
• Maintain and update hardware, asset, and inventory records
• Support regular stock checks and IT inventory activities
• Organize and maintain the IT storage area
• Prepare hardware for new employees and support onboarding and offboarding activities
• Document completed tasks and maintain internal IT documentation
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the IT team

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled as a student, ideally in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Technology, or a comparable field
• General interest in IT, hardware, and technical topics
• Basic knowledge of Windows devices and Microsoft Office applications
• Structured, careful, and reliable way of working
• Friendly and service-oriented attitude
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes
• Good English language skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
